A Night for NASPA Region I at the University of Southern Maine

University of Southern Maine and the Region I Conference for the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) are pleased to announce a special collaboration to invite all Faculty & Staff at USM to a special social/networking event with this year’s NASPA Region I Conference attendees. Conference attendees are being invited to come visit the newly opened McGoldrick Center for Career & Student Success and Portland Commons Residence Hall just one mile away from Holiday Inn by the Bay. USM Faculty & Staff are welcomed to the main drop-in reception which will be on the 2nd floor of the McGoldrick Center for Career & Student success and will feature a cash bar and complimentary appetizers along with the opportunity for USM faculty/staff members to connect and network with NASPA Region I Conference attendees.

Members of the USM Student Affairs division will be available to offer tours of the McGoldrick Center, a three-story, 42,000 square-foot building including the Campus Store, Cafeteria, Husky Brew Coffee Shop/Brew Pub, Career Hub, Student Diversity Center, Commuter Lounge and Student Affairs Office Suite. There will also offer tours of Portland Commons, a 580 bed residence hall of approximately 218,000 square feet which meets leading-edge Passive House sustainability standards and is currently the second largest Passive House designed building at a University in the United States. Both buildings are newly opened for Fall 2023.
