Welcome Back Social and Exhibition Viewing of “Maine on Display: 19th Century Wall Maps and Bird’s Eye Views”

As we settle into the rhythm of a new semester, the CCD and the Osher Map Library would like to invite all USM faculty and staff to a welcome back reception and exhibition viewing! Please come gather with colleagues as we celebrate the beginning of a new academic year. Food and beverages will be served.
What: Welcome back social and exhibition viewing of Maine on Display: 19th Century Wall Maps and Bird’s Eye Views
When: Wednesday, September 13; 4:30-5:30pm
Where: Osher Map Library & Smith Center for Cartographic Education, Portland Campus
The reception and viewing will be followed by a panel discussion “The History and Significance of Municipal Wall Maps and Bird’s Eye Views,” from 5:45pm-7pm, in the Glickman Family Library University Events Room, 7th floor. All are welcome to stay and attend.
The Center for Collaboration & Development (CCD) works to offer programming and support to advance the teaching, research, scholarship, creative activity, and service capacity of the faculty and staff of the University of Southern Maine.
