Teaching Showcase: Assignments that Engage
December 5, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

It’s the time of the year when you are looking forward to the next semester. Are you teaching a brand new course? Hoping to reinvigorate an old course? Looking for some ideas about designing a course that students find challenging, yet keeps them hooked? Then join us on Wednesday, December 5th at 3:00pm – 4:30pm in Glickman 429 for the third CTEL Teaching Showcase—Assignments That Engage!
Our featured panelists are Dr. Walter Kimball, Professor of Education; Dr. David Champlin, Associate Professor of Biology; and Janet Nelson, Lecturer of Business. They will share examples and wisdom, and prompt you to reconsider your own teaching practice.
As always, all participants can enter into a drawing for a brand new iPad pro! All USM faculty and staff are welcome.
This is the third CTEL Teaching Showcase event of the season. If you’d missed our first two events, you can read articles on their takeaways: The Art of Giving Feedback and Motivating Struggling Students.
