How do I create a group in VoiceThread for my class?

Once CTEL has provided you with a single-instructor license for VoiceThread, you can add up to 50 students to it so that they’ll have higher-level access than what they get with a free account, which limits them to 5 presentations and 25MB of data.

The easiest way to add students to your license is via a link; to locate it,

  1. Click your email address in the top-right corner of your VoiceThread home page to open its dropdown menu, then click Manager. Options for managing your VoiceThread license will be displayed.
  2. Click the Add Members link in the Manager’s left-hand menu. The settings for creating a link that students can click to be added to your license will be displayed.
  3. Click the clipboard icon to copy the student link.
  4. Go to your course site in Blackboard, and add this link to its menu.

To remove students from your license at the end of the term, simply click the Manage Members link in the Manager’s menu to access this option.
