Identifying the Challenge:

Students, especially those in blended or online courses, may feel socially removed from their class, feeling burnt out.

Quick Tip:

Creating “check-in” moments can vary their course experience and humanize all educators and learners involved. This can also be done by incorporating activities which ask students to reflect on their experience so far or goals for the rest of the semester.


The Student View offers simple tips developed in response to real student experiences voiced in focus groups and interviews conducted by the Center for Technology Enhanced Learning.
