Identifying the Challenge:
Even though students may have designated academic advisors and receive reminder emails to register for upcoming classes, they might either miss meetings or dismiss emails before reading them. This can both harm them financially and impact timely degree completion.

While students are focused on completing your course you have their attention, so sending them reminders, tips, and resources about scheduling can help. You can point them to the Student Resources Advising page (mycampus.maine.edu/group/usm/student-resources3) to get them started.
