Gap Funding Mini-Grants & Innovative Teaching Grants Call for Proposals

Dear Colleagues, 
The Center for Collaboration & Development (CCD) is pleased to announce our Fall 2023 call for Gap Funding Mini-Grants and Innovative Teaching Grants proposals. Please see below for more information on each of the grant opportunities.

Gap Funding Mini-Grants: Gap Funding Mini-Grants are designed to cover costs associated with scholarship, creative activity, and faculty/staff professional development. It is a “gap fund” as it aims to provide coverage that other internal/external sources of funding (including department budgets) can not/do not cover. Gap Fund Mini-Grants are open to full and part-time faculty members and full-time staff. Awards will be in amounts up to $750 per faculty/staff per fiscal year. Please note that all funds must be spent before June 30, 2024. Applications for this round of funding must be received by Friday, October 13th. Priority will be given to applicants who have not received Gap Funding Mini-Grants within the past two years. See the full description and submit a proposal for Gap Funding Mini-Grants here.

Innovative Teaching Grants:Faculty and instructional staff can request funding to help support high impact teaching practices and student engagement. Grants can be used on classroom supplies, field trip expenses, experiential learning opportunities, guest speaker fees, etc. These grants are intended to support your teaching this semester, Fall 2023. Max funding per faculty member is $500.
